The team go above and beyond for residents and truly wants the best for them. I was made to feel very welcome, and Harry always mentions that the team does so much for him and keeps him active. The residents always look happy and very cared for.

Food & Nutrition
At Eastham, we follow the guidelines of the British Dietetic Association and the Care Home Digest to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are consistently met. Our freshly prepared meals cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences, bringing residents together in a welcoming, social, and dignified atmosphere where every mealtime is both enjoyable and nourishing.

Karolyn Sisto
After 15 years in the police force, I transitioned to health and social care in 2011, starting as a carer at Eastham. I progressed to care team leader, then gained valuable experience as a deputy manager at another Runwood Home for three years before returning to Eastham as home manager in 2024. Now, as both a registered home manager and a qualified, registered social worker, I feel equipped to make a real difference in people’s lives. Every step of this journey has taught me something new about compassion, leadership, and the importance of quality care.
